A BMW vehicle suddenly caught fire near Victory Square in Minsk, the traffic police department of the Minsk City Executive Committee reported. The incident occurred this afternoon near building No. 42 on Niezaliežnasci Avenue. A 33-year-old driver noticed smoke coming from under the hood and left the car.
Emergency workers arrived at the scene. Together with bystanders who were nearby, they extinguished the fire. The causes and circumstances of the incident are being established.
Fortunately, no one was injured.
