Employees of the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant will now commute to work using electric buses. BKM Holding has supplied four E350 suburban electric buses to the plant.
“The electric buses will be used to transport personnel on the site and in the vicinity of the facility,” the company said.
The electric buses are designed to carry up to 53 passengers. They are equipped with a new 220 kW electric motor and a 614.4 V energy storage system, providing a driving range of at least 100 kilometers. The maximum speed is up to 90 km/h.
