Bison Attacks Tourist in Polish Part of Bialowieza Forest

A bison attacked a tourist in the Polish part of Bialowieza Forest, the Bialowieza National Park reported.

The incident occurred in Teremiski. A group of tourists approached the bison too closely, and the bull charged. One of those who tried to take a photo was injured and taken to hospital.

The Polish national park warned that bison can be dangerous. They are large, fast, and powerful animals and may become aggressive when they feel threatened. Visitors are advised to behave responsibly and keep a distance of at least 50 meters. The park administration also warned against attracting bison with food.
