BELPOL’s website has been subjected to a massive attack for the second consecutive day. The organization linked the attack to the publication of a report on Belarus’ militarization, the involvement of the Belarusian economy in the military-industrial system, and the consequences of the regime’s policies.

In particular, attempts have been made to gain access to the website’s administrative panel and interfere with its operation.

BELPOL emphasized that information about the organization’s sources is not stored on the website. The site publishes materials intended for public distribution, so attempts to access the administrative panel do not, according to the organization, pose a threat to sensitive information.

“We are taking the necessary measures to protect the website and continue to monitor the situation. Attempts to interfere with our work will not change the main thing: BELPOL will continue to investigate the activities of Lukashenka’s regime, uncover facts, and publish the results of its work,” BELPOL said.
