Health Minister Aliaksandr Khajayeu shared details of the evacuation.

“The evacuation of our citizens — both the young children and the adult — began early this morning, once conditions and their state of health allowed it.

At present, six injured people are being evacuated. Two of them are in serious condition: one child and one adult. Four others have injuries of varying severity but are not in serious condition.

The boy who remains in serious condition underwent surgery yesterday evening by a joint medical team that included specialists from Moscow, Bryansk and Belarus.

At this point, a collective decision has been made that they can be evacuated, and therefore the evacuation began this morning,” he said.
