The Qualification Commission for Legal Practice in Belarus has revoked the license of lawyer Raman Shpakouski. He worked at the Minsk City Bar Association.

“The grounds for this decision were Shpakouski R.I.’s commission of misconduct incompatible with the title of lawyer (actions discrediting the title of lawyer and the legal profession),” the Justice Ministry reported.

Raman Shpakouski worked as a tax lawyer. He is the author of the popular Telegram channel “Taxes, Business and Rock ‘n’ Roll | Raman Shpakouski.”

A regular certification of lawyers was also held on August 31. As a result, a decision was made that Yury Stashkevich did not fully comply with the requirements of the law, with his certification postponed for six months.

After the 2020 protests, the Justice Ministry repeatedly revoked lawyers’ licenses for “misconduct incompatible with the title of lawyer.”
