Belarusian Developers Present New Computing Systems For Armed Forces

OJSC NIIEVM has completed the final stage of state tests of modern systems for processing, storing and displaying information developed for the needs of the Armed Forces of Belarus. This was reported by the State Authority for Military Industry.

The work was carried out within the framework of a research and development project aimed at creating a line of specialized computing equipment designed for integration into automated command and control systems, as well as into information and computing complexes of weapons and military equipment.

The developed equipment includes mobile tablets — portable electronic computing machines of the VM2455 and VM2456 models, the specialized computer VM2462, as well as information display devices — multifunctional liquid-crystal panels with diagonals of 8, 15, 24 and 32 inches.

According to the developers, the new devices provide a full cycle of working with data — from processing and storage to transmission and visualization of information. The equipment is intended for use in modern command posts and specialized military systems.

During state trials, all samples were confirmed to meet the tactical and technical requirements of the customer. The developed devices demonstrated high reliability, resistance to external impacts and stable operation under conditions typical for military equipment.
