From May 25 to May 29, training is being held for operations officers of the Armed Forces with the aim of improving their knowledge and professional skills across their areas of responsibility, according to the press service of Belarus’s Defence Ministry.
“Particular attention will be paid to engineering support for formations and military units, organising supply for small units operating separately from the main forces, and tactical medicine based on the experience of the special military operation”, the statement said.
The training programme will also include the final stage of the competition for the best operations officer of the Armed Forces.

In Belarusian military terminology, an “operations officer” refers to an officer responsible for command, coordination and planning of combat operations, as well as information processing within military command structures.
