Russia has returned 500 bee packages to Belarus after they were transported without the required documentation, the Russian agricultural watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor reported.
Two vehicles carrying the bee packages were stopped in Russia’s Pskov region in the village of Lobok. Rosselkhoznadzor inspectors determined that the shipment was being transported without veterinary accompanying documents.
The import of the bees into Russia was prohibited, and they were returned to Belarus. The carriers were held administratively liable.
