The Interior Ministry Uncovers Corruption in School Meal Services

The Interior Ministry has reported the arrest of the head of a state-owned enterprise responsible for organizing food services in educational institutions. Authorities said they had uncovered evidence of systemic corruption.

According to the Interior Ministry, a 33-year-old man accepted bribes for “lobbying the interests of commercial entities and individual entrepreneurs.” He allegedly received money in exchange for helping them secure service contracts.

The director was detained in the act. Criminal proceedings have been launched for accepting a large-scale bribe.
