Belarusian Industry Minister Andrei Kuznetsov held a working meeting with Song Yun, Vice President of Geely Auto Group.
According to the Industry Ministry, the discussion focused on increasing production volumes, expanding the range of models, and improving product quality. The talks also covered localization of component and parts manufacturing.
The Chinese side expressed interest in expanding its presence in the Belarusian market.
Kuznetsov, in turn, emphasized the importance of strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation and expressed confidence in the successful development of joint projects.
Geely is a co-owner of the BelGee plant, which was built with an annual capacity of 60,000 vehicles and potential expansion to 120,000 cars.
