Belarus’s Emergencies Ministry will conduct a nationwide test of the automated centralized alert system. The check is carried out annually.
“In cooperation with participants of the alert system — the National State Television and Radio Company, the Second National TV Channel, Stolichnoye Television, and the republican unitary telecommunications enterprise Beltelecom — an annual nationwide test of the automated centralized alert system will be conducted,” the ministry said.
Today, FM radio stations will broadcast the message: “Attention! A technical test of the alert system is being conducted. The technical test has been completed.”
The alert system also includes electric sirens, public address systems, SMS notifications, and other means.
