Belarus Approves Procedure for Registering Crypto Banks

Belarusian Prime Minister Aliaksandr Turchyn has signed a resolution adding procedures related to the registration of crypto banks to the Unified List of Administrative Procedures for Business Entities. The new procedures cover inclusion in the register of crypto banks, amendments to registration data, and removal from the register.

The document was adopted in implementation of a decree signed by Aliaksandr Lukashenka on January 16, 2026, “On Crypto Banks and Certain Issues of Control in the Sphere of Digital Tokens,” and is aimed at developing the cryptocurrency sector in Belarus, the government press service said.
