On February 20, Aliaksandr Lukashenka signed a decree approving as a basis for negotiations a draft agreement between the governments of Belarus and Saudi Arabia on the mutual abolition of visa requirements for short-term trips by holders of diplomatic, service and special passports.
The agreement will allow citizens of Belarus and Saudi Arabia holding diplomatic, service and special passports to visit each other’s countries without visas. No visa will be required for entry, transit or stay for up to 90 days within any 180-day period from the date of first entry.
The Foreign Ministry has been authorized to conduct negotiations on the agreement and to sign it.
