The Belarusian government has updated the procedure for developing the state network of hydrometeorological observation sites. The relevant resolution was signed by Prime Minister Aliaksandr Turchyn.
The resolution will help improve the speed of detecting hazardous hydrometeorological phenomena, the government’s press service said.
Under the resolution, automatic meteorological stations will be included in the network of hydrometeorological observation sites.
The state network of hydrometeorological observations will be expanded to include automatic meteorological stations and automatic meteorological posts. The addresses of existing hydrometeorological observation sites will also be updated.
