Aliaksandr Lukashenka instructed the State Control Committee of Belarus, together with his administration and the government, to recalculate the draft decree under which farms in the Dubrouna District and Vitsyebsk Bacon are to be transferred to the Servolux group of companies. Chairman of the Vitsyebsk Regional Executive Committee Aliaksandr Rahozhnik said this following a meeting.
“We have worked out a formula with the investors that allows them to achieve a fairly good result as well”, he said, BelTA reports.
Rahozhnik noted that along with the agricultural organizations, the investor will also assume their debts.
“When we talk about the value of assets, we should look not at the bare figures, but at the value of liquid assets. In addition to the figures set out in the draft decree, we need to understand how much in previously accumulated debts the investor will assume and how much investment they will make. Ultimately, our goal is an efficient business and effective operations. You can impose only as much of a burden as can be carried. Therefore, I believe that the provisions included in the draft decree are the most objective both for the investor’s operations and for the interests of the state”, he explained.
