A trial of art manager Aleh Larychau is under way in Minsk. An ambulance was called during a court hearing, Alina Hieraščanka, head of the Hrodna public organisation, wrote on Facebook.

According to her, Larychau has diabetes, non-healing ulcers on his legs and is at risk of developing gangrene.

“A trial of Aleh Larychau is under way. Yesterday, an ambulance was called for him during the hearing. He has ulcers on his legs that are not healing, and he developed a fever. Medical care is irregular. Aleh has diabetes, and there is a risk of gangrene developing,” Hieraščanka wrote.

Aleh Larychau is an art manager, artist and organiser of the Urban Myths festival. He was detained in November 2025. The Interior Ministry designated Larychau as being involved in the “extremist group” Viejšnoryja.
