Belarus and Afghanistan discussed the possibility of supplying gasoline and diesel fuel to Afghanistan. The issue was raised during a meeting between Belarusian Industry Minister Andrei Kuzniatsou and Afghan Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi in Uzbekistan.
“During the meeting, the sides discussed and exchanged views on increasing the level of trade between the two countries and the purchase of diesel fuel and gasoline from the Republic of Belarus”, the Afghan Ministry of Industry and Commerce press service reported.
The Afghan side also invited Belarusian investors to consider investment opportunities in Afghanistan, particularly in the spice production sector.
The sides agreed to create a joint working group at the deputy minister level to discuss the issues raised during the meeting, including increasing trade between the two countries.
