Polish border guards have uncovered another shipment of airborne contraband. This time, smugglers used three weather balloons linked together. They landed in the village of Mazanówka in Biała Podlaska County.

The weather balloons carried 15,000 packs of cigarettes of various brands across the border without Polish excise stamps.

Border guards believe Belarus is the most likely point of origin for the contraband. A search is underway for those involved in transporting the goods.
