Belarusian Gasoline Supplies To Russia Could Exceed 1 Million Tonnes

The volume of gasoline supplies from Belarus to Russia could exceed 1 million tonnes in the first nine months of the year. This was reported by Kommersant, citing an industry source.

According to the source, supplies in September could amount to about 205,000 tonnes, 4.5 times more than during the same period last year. Thus, Russia could receive 1.05 million tonnes of Belarusian gasoline in the first nine months of the year.

Supplies of Belarusian diesel fuel to Russia are also increasing. They amounted to 246,000 tonnes in September. During the summer months, Belarusian refineries sent 361,000 tonnes of diesel fuel to the neighboring country, twice as much as in January-May this year.

Russia is increasing fuel imports amid Ukrainian strikes on oil refineries.
