Activist From Hrodna to Be Tried on 10 Charges

Navumava has been charged under the following articles:
- Article 16, Part 6 (aiding and abetting participation in a crime),
- Article 130, Parts 1 and 3 (incitement of other social hatred),
- Article 188 (defamation),
- Article 203-1, Part 3 (violation of the secrecy of correspondence and telephone conversations),
- Article 361-4, Parts 1 and 2 (facilitating extremist activity, the same actions committed repeatedly),
- Article 367, Part 2 (defamation of Lukashenka),
- Article 368, Part 1 (insulting Lukashenka),
- Article 369 (insulting a government official),
- Article 370 (desecration of state symbols),
- Article 391 (insulting a judge).
Navumava was for a long time a member of the left-wing party Fair World. In 2017, she was tried in an administrative case for participating in a protest against the “social parasites” decree.
