On Saturday and Sunday, the State Traffic Inspectorate will increase checks on roads near religious events held for Easter celebrations. Traffic police patrols will pay particular attention to identifying drunk drivers and people driving without a license. Additional measures will also target motorcyclists, cyclists and users of personal mobility devices, the Interior Ministry press service said.

During the holiday period, traffic is expected to increase on country roads, while weather conditions may remain unstable. Traffic police are urging road users to stay attentive, follow the rules and show mutual respect.
