A 29-year-old worker, Raman Tysevich, was killed at Mine No. 4 of Belaruskali. He worked as an on-duty and maintenance electrical fitter.
According to the company, the incident occurred on Aug. 6 while he was connecting an electrical cable to a scraper transfer conveyor at a mine development complex. The worker sustained fatal injuries.
A commission is investigating the circumstances and causes of the accident.
