15 Employees of a Construction Enterprise in Mahilyow Region Penalized After a State Control Inspection

The State Control Committee of the Mahilyow Region has uncovered numerous violations in the activities of one of the region’s major construction enterprises. The inspection revealed systemic problems in the production of construction materials, financial discipline, and the enterprise’s management.

In particular, the inspection established:

• violations of the technical regulations in the production of construction materials amounting to more than 16 million rubles;
• misuse of almost 1 million rubles of shared-construction funds;
• unjustified charging of 2.2 million rubles to expenses for correcting warranty defects instead of recovering the costs from those responsible;
• overstatement of the cost of works by 40,000 rubles.

In addition, cases of unjustified bonus payments to the director, his deputies, and the chief accountant were revealed, despite the enterprise’s outstanding debt to the budget.

Following the inspection, the enterprise and 15 of its officials were held administratively liable. The total amount of fines imposed on the plant reached 340,000 rubles, the State Control Committee’s press service reports.
