Zelenskyy Says New Strikes Have Hit Russian Oil Refineries

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said oil facilities in Russia had been hit, including oil refineries.

“We are responding fairly to Russian escalation with our long-range sanctions. There are significant results virtually every day.

Over the past 24 hours, oil facilities in the Samara and Volgograd regions have been hit. Successful operations were carried out in the Black Sea and in the Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod, Volgograd, Samara and Krasnodar regions, targeting airfields, enterprises, oil refineries, a missile and space center, and an ammunition depot belonging to the occupiers,” the Ukrainian president said.

According to Ukrainian monitoring channels, an oil refinery and the Kaustik chemical plant were attacked in Volgograd. In the Samara region, the Samara linear production dispatch station, which has the largest tank farm, was hit.
