Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has awarded US President’s wife Melania Trump the Order of Princess Olga, First Class. The relevant decree was published today.
Melania Trump received the award “for her significant contribution to humanitarian support for Ukraine, and her active human rights and charitable work aimed at rescuing Ukrainian children and civilians affected by Russian aggression who were illegally deported or forcibly displaced from territories of Ukraine temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation”.
US First Lady’s Special Senior Adviser Marc Beckman has also received the Golden Heart award. He was honoured “for his significant personal contribution to providing humanitarian assistance to Ukrainian civilians and supporting efforts to rescue and evacuate civilians from temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine”.
