The attack was carried out using Neptune coastal missile systems operated by the Ukrainian Navy.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cA hit on the target was recorded, a fire broke out at the site, and explosions were heard. The extent of the damage is being assessed,\u201d<\/i> the military said.<\/p>\n<p>Proton-Electrotex manufactures optoelectronic equipment and electronic components. According to Ukraine\u2019s General Staff, the plant produces, among other things, modules for Kover air-launched cruise missiles and switching inverters for 9M723 ballistic missiles used by the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Ukraine\u2019s General Staff <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/GeneralStaffZSU\/42834\">said<\/a> that two launchers of the Iskander operational-tactical missile system had been hit in Bryansk Region. The extent of the damage is still being assessed.
