He arrived in Minsk to attend the 4th Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security.<\/p>\n<p>According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/BelarusMFA\/1445\">statement<\/a> from the Belarusian Foreign Ministry\u2019s press service, the sides exchanged views on bilateral and international issues, discussed the situation in the Middle East and called for conflicts to be resolved through political and diplomatic means.<\/p>\n<p>Ryzhankou said Belarus supported adherence to the principles of the UN Charter, including <i>\u201cthe peaceful settlement of disputes, respect for state sovereignty and the rejection of the use of force\u201d.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Khatibzadeh noted the positive momentum in Belarusian-Iranian relations and the high level of expertise at the Minsk conference.<\/p>\n<p>The sides also reaffirmed their intention to continue working together on the development and adoption of the Eurasian Charter of Diversity and Multipolarity in the 21st Century.<\/p>\n<p>They also discussed prospects for cooperation between Belarus and Iran in the political, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian, and scientific and technical fields.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On November 4, Belarusian Foreign Minister Maksim Ryzhankou met with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister and Head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry\u2019s Center for Political and International Studies Saeed Khatibzadeh.
