The decision to designate the information products of these resources as extremist was made by the Central District Court of Minsk on October 30. The same ruling added a \u201clogo (watermark) in the form of a shield featuring an eight-pointed star with a cross inside and wings on either side of the star, in any colour variations\u201d to the list.<\/p>\n<p>The list has also been expanded to include the Facebook accounts \u201cAnimia Masha\u201d, \u201cViktoria Voitseva\u201d and \u201cKsenia Pleshkova\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The Belarusian authorities use extremism charges to persecute opponents of Lukashenka and dissent in general.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of Information has updated the national list of \u201cextremist materials\u201d.
