His candidacy was supported by delegates to the LDPB&#8217;s 23rd congress, which was attended by 700 representatives of regional, city and district party organisations, <a href=\"https:\/\/belta.by\/society\/view\/ldpb-pereizbrala-rukovodjaschie-organy-partii-i-opredelila-plany-na-blizhajshie-gody-808709-2026\/\">BelTA reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The chairman&#8217;s term of office will last five years. Delegates also re-elected the party&#8217;s Supreme Council, Central Committee and Central Auditing Commission.<\/p>\n<p>Haidukevich has held the position since September 2019.
