Pro-inflationary pressure from domestic demand and the labor market persisted, while the comparatively high harvest of agricultural crops, the appreciation of the Belarusian ruble against the Russian ruble, and the maintenance of strict price controls in the food segment constrained inflation in Q3-2026,\u201d<\/em> the authors of the report noted.<\/p>\n<p>Neither a significant acceleration nor a slowdown in inflation is likely in the fourth quarter in the absence of major shocks. As a result, annual price growth is expected to fall within the range of 4.8\u20135.3%.<\/p>\n<p>In 2027, the external environment for the Belarusian economy will remain moderately inflationary. The inflationary impact of domestic demand is expected to weaken, while the labour market will continue to exert similar pressure on prices. Price controls will continue to restrain inflation, but their dampening effect will weaken considerably.
