The damage amounted to approximately 2,000 Belarusian roubles.<\/p>\n<p>A 35-year-old worker was detained on suspicion of involvement in the theft. The man had been carrying out dismantling work nearby. He noticed that the riverboats were unlocked and took advantage of the opportunity.<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;At the end of the working day, he cut out the cables, melted them down and handed the metal in at a scrap collection point.
