The violations were uncovered by the State Control Committee of the Homiel Region.<\/p>\n<p>Work on the project continued for almost two years, but the enterprise failed to manufacture equipment that met the technical specifications and design documentation requirements. In addition, the enterprise claimed reimbursement from the state budget for the salaries of research staff who had not actually participated in developing the equipment.<\/p>\n<p>Following a proposal by the State Control Committee, the Ministry of Industry decided to recover the funds spent on manufacturing the equipment. More than 400,000 rubles has been repaid so far.
