The statement was made by Chairman of the Board of the National Bank of Belarus <strong>Raman Halouchanka<\/strong> at the 31st meeting of the EAEU Consultative Council on Monetary Policy.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThere are a number of accumulated contradictions that require coordinated solutions. These include the development of digital financial assets, which are regulated under different rules in our countries. The lack of coordinated approaches to the classification of digital assets, requirements for their issuers and cross-border circulation creates risks of regulatory arbitrage and limits the market\u2019s potential. These issues are systemic in nature and cannot be resolved through the efforts of a single central bank alone,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n<p>He expressed Belarus\u2019s readiness to develop coordinated solutions.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe are ready to develop coordinated solutions that will make the EAEU financial system more resilient and more convenient for citizens and businesses.
