The EDB identified domestic demand and the transport sector among the factors driving growth.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cTrade remains one of the key drivers, growing by 4.0% year-on-year, up from 3.9%, supported by consumer demand. Retail trade turnover increased by 8.7% year-on-year, amid an 8.2% rise in real disposable household income in January\u2013August. GDP growth was also supported by an expansion in transport services, which grew by 4.8% year-on-year, up from 4.4%, as passenger traffic increased by 7.6% year-on-year.
