This was <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/anohin67\/15883?single\">announced<\/a> by <b>Vasily Anokhin<\/b>, governor of the Russian region, following a meeting of the economic and investment task force, which reviewed the Smolensk Region delegation\u2019s participation in the INNOPROM international industrial exhibition in Belarus.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Our task is to implement the agreements reached, which will contribute to the further economic development of the Smolensk Region and Belarusian regions,&#8221;<\/em> Anokhin said.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, trade turnover between the Smolensk Region and Belarus increased by around 11% in the first seven months of 2026.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Cooperation has been established between the Vyazma Machine-Building Plant and Belarus\u2019s MotoVeloZavod to produce motorcycles. Given growing demand, we agreed to increase supply volumes and ensure a stable workload for the assembly plant in the Smolensk Region,&#8221;<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n<p>Anokhin also noted the participation of a Belarusian company in the construction of the Podsnyezhniki\u2013Skriporovo section of road in Smolensk.<\/p>\n<p>The Russian region is also discussing the entry of new Belarusian manufacturers into the local market and the possibility of setting up a berry-processing facility.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Smolensk Region is discussing a joint project with Belarus to establish its own taxi aggregator and an electric vehicle taxi fleet.
