A criminal case has been opened in Minsk against a 50-year-old taxi driver who hit a six-year-old child in a courtyard on Rafieva Street.<\/p>\n

The accident occurred this afternoon. According to preliminary information<\/a> from the Investigative Committee, the child ran onto the road as a taxi was driving through the courtyard. The child sustained injuries and was taken to hospital.<\/p>\n

At the scene, investigators inspected the area, recorded traces, interviewed witnesses and ordered forensic examinations.<\/p>\n

The criminal case was opened under Part 2 of Article 317 of the Criminal Code, which concerns traffic violations resulting in serious bodily injury.<\/p>\n
