Construction has begun on a livestock complex for beef production in Haradok District. It is the flagship facility of the Uzbek Navruz agricultural cluster.<\/p>\n

In the village of Kliushava, plans call for the construction of a modern feedlot with capacity for 4,000 head of cattle, a processing facility and a residential neighbourhood for workers.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor now, all the cattle will be local breeds. We will purchase everything we need. It will be the Black-and-White breed found in Belarus. In the future, we plan to develop and raise a new breed adapted to our own conditions, specifically for beef production. But for now, the entire herd will consist of locally sourced Belarusian cattle,\u201d<\/em> Uladzimir Pupyshau<\/a><\/strong>, director of Navruz Group, told STV.<\/p>\n

To mark the start of construction, participants in the ceremony buried a commemorative capsule containing a message to future generations, unveiled a memorial sign and planted an avenue of red-leaved oak trees.<\/p>\n

Two other livestock enterprises involving Uzbek businesses are also being established in other districts. In Slavharad District, SP AgroMit LLC plans to implement a cattle-fattening project. In Beshankovichy District, AndijanAgro has launched a new investment project in the same sector.<\/p>\n
