According to Belstat, the country\u2019s gross domestic product totalled 237 billion rubles in January\u2013September, up 2% compared with the same period last year.<\/p>\n<p>The GDP deflator index stood at 111.7% in January\u2013September.<\/p>\n<p>As a reminder, Belarus recorded a decline in GDP in the first quarter. By the end of January\u2013July, GDP had grown by 2.1%. Over the first eight months, GDP growth slowed to 1.9%, but has now accelerated again.<\/p>\n<p>Under the official socio-economic development forecast approved by Aliaksandr Lukashenka, GDP is expected to grow by 2.8% for the year as a whole.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Belarus\u2019 GDP growth accelerated again in September.
