According to the Ukrainian Navy, six Su-34M bombers were hit.<\/p>\n<p>The Ukrainian Navy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/navy.mil.gov.ua\/posts\/pfbid02iXHErBqA6prn3R1sRwBAUL23ffzWrFRuoUqSUUeCXnpQwSahdrodR7roWsXn56isl\">reported<\/a> that the strike was carried out using the Neptune coastal missile system.<\/p>\n<p>The statement also said that technical equipment used to support flight operations had been destroyed. According to the Ukrainian side, further detonations and a fire were recorded at the airfield. Information about the consequences of the strike is being clarified.<\/p>\n<p>The extent of the damage to the aircraft has not been disclosed: the Ukrainian Navy says they were hit, not destroyed.<\/p>\n<p>The Ukrainian agency notes that Su-34M aircraft can carry guided and high-explosive aerial bombs, as well as various types of missiles.
