Unlike ordinary SMS messages, these alerts arrive almost immediately \u2014 within 20 seconds \u2014 and can reach all subscribers in a specific area&#8221;<\/em>, the ministry explained.<\/p>\n<p>The system has three levels of alerts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Test alerts \u2014 the word \u201ctest\u201d will appear on phone screens;<\/li>\n<li>Emergency warnings \u2014 phones will vibrate and emit a loud alert sound even if silent mode is enabled, and the text will also be delivered as a voice message;<\/li>\n<li>National alerts \u2014 messages cannot be blocked or disabled in the phone settings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>&#8220;During the trial in the Homiel region, the operation of scenarios for automatically launching alerts at a specified time will be tested. Ministry specialists will assess message delivery results through public surveys.
