In his view, Russia considers Trump\u2019s statements weak.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Overnight, the Russians used 39 ballistic missiles and more than 120 attack drones and loitering munitions against our energy infrastructure and critical infrastructure in Kyiv, the Kyiv region and Kharkiv. Russia carried out a targeted ballistic strike specifically against energy infrastructure, for which the American president had called for a ceasefire. The strike was entirely deliberate, and its scale was intended to send a message \u2014 Russia has never shown such demonstrative disrespect for America before. Russia does not consider the American president\u2019s statements strong&#8221;<\/em>, Zelenskyy said.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, at least 600,000 people remain without electricity. The outages could affect even more people. Zelenskyy noted that significant damage had been inflicted on 26 components of the power sector and four oil and gas facilities.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;We ask America and EVERYONE in the world who does not turn a blind eye to reality to respond \u2014 and to respond firmly. Russia has missed an opportunity to de-escalate and has clearly chosen to continue its insane war of annihilation.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We ask President Trump to impose STRONG sanctions against Russia, especially since the recently adopted and signed bill by Lindsey Graham makes this possible and provides for it.
