A criminal case has been opened against him, the State Customs Committee <a href=\"https:\/\/t.me\/customs_bel\/14400\">reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The man arrived in Minsk on a flight from Tashkent. During customs clearance at the airport, he chose the green channel, but customs officers found more than $40,000 and 21,000 Uzbek soms in his possession. The amount was four times the permitted limit for carrying cash across the border without declaring it.<\/p>\n<p>A criminal case has been opened under Part 2 of Article 228 of the Criminal Code.
