The case concerns an attack on a truck in Russia&#8217;s Bryansk Region in which a <a href=\"https:\/\/reform.news\/en\/belarusian-citizen-injured-in-drone-attack-on-truck-in-bryansk-region\">Belarusian citizen was injured<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;It has been established that on October 8, 2026, the 31-year-old victim sustained serious bodily injuries in an explosion following a drone attack on a vehicle travelling along the Bryansk\u2013Novozybkov highway near the border with Ukraine,&#8221;<\/i> the Prosecutor General&#8217;s Office press service <a href=\"https:\/\/prokuratura.gov.by\/ru\/media\/novosti\/zashchita-sotsialnykh-prav-grazhdan\/bezopasnost-zhiznedeyatelnosti-naseleniya\/grazhdanka-belarusi-131026\/\">reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The criminal case has been forwarded to the central office of the Investigative Committee for a preliminary investigation.<\/p>\n<p>The Prosecutor General&#8217;s Office has drawn attention to what it described as &#8220;an increase in acts of terrorism against civilians in the border areas of Russia and Ukraine&#8221; and advised citizens not to travel to combat zones or nearby regions.<\/p>\n<p>On October 8, the Foreign Ministry reported a drone strike on a truck bearing Belarusian registration plates in Russia&#8217;s Bryansk Region. The vehicle&#8217;s passenger, a Belarusian citizen, sustained serious injuries. Her limbs were amputated.
