Four people were killed in this strike on a residential building in Kharkiv. My condolences to all their relatives and loved ones. A total of 41 people were injured in just one evening in Kharkiv alone. There was also a rather treacherous ballistic missile attack on Kyiv, with five missiles striking civilian infrastructure. Unfortunately, there was no warning from our partners about this attack. Intelligence about the launch of Russian ballistic missiles helps save lives, and this is one of the most critical issues. During this period, the Russians attacked our energy facilities and critical infrastructure and sent absolutely clear signals that they had no intention of refraining from strikes on Ukraine. Nineteen regions of our country came under attack during these two days alone. Our position remains unchanged: Ukraine is ready to take reciprocal steps to de-escalate, and effective pressure must be exerted on Russia to ensure de-escalation.
