Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 116 attack drones overnight on October 11. According to the Ukrainian Air Force<\/a>, Russian forces used Shahed drones, including jet-powered ones, as well as Gerbera drones and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles.<\/p>\n

As of 8:30 a.m., Ukrainian air defense had shot down or suppressed 94 drones, including 74 jet-powered ones. Hits by 10 UAVs were recorded at seven locations, while debris from downed drones fell at nine locations.<\/p>\n

Six people, including two children and a rescue worker, were injured in the attacks on Dnipropetrovsk Region, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine<\/a> reports. Four people, including two children, were injured in Dnipro. Rescuers evacuated 30 people, including a child, from a residential building. Apartment buildings were damaged, and fires broke out at warehouse facilities.<\/p>\n

In Nikopol District, a rescue worker was injured and a fire and rescue unit was damaged. The Marhanets, Krasnohrigorivka, and Pokrovske communities also came under attack. In Synelnykove District, a man was injured, and a private house and an outbuilding caught fire. In Kryvyi Rih District, a private house and a gas pipeline were damaged.<\/p>\n

In Odesa, another Russian attack damaged<\/a> a residential building: three apartments were destroyed, and the roof caught fire. The fire was extinguished, and no one was injured.<\/p>\n

In Zaporizhzhia, search and rescue operations at the site of the Russian strike on a residential building on October 10 have been completed<\/a>. The impact of an aerial bomb caused the entrance section of a three-story building to collapse and damaged other buildings and private houses. Rescuers removed around 320 tonnes of construction debris. The airstrike killed 20 people in Zaporizhzhia, including four children. Another 32 people were injured, including three children. Municipal services are now carrying out restoration work.<\/p>\n

In Kyiv, State Emergency Service bomb disposal specialists recovered<\/a> the warhead and safe remnants of a ballistic missile that fell in the courtyard of a group of high-rise residential buildings in the Obolonskyi District. The missile damaged a single-story structure.<\/p>\n
