A Russian military contingent has arrived in Belarus to take part in the Indestructible Brotherhood 2026 and Barrier 2026 exercises. The drills are being held under the auspices of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Russian military contingent consists primarily of motorised rifle and reconnaissance units, communications and electronic warfare units, NBC protection units, medical units, as well as crews operating unmanned systems belonging to a combined-arms army of the Central Military District,\u201d<\/i> the CSTO information centre said.<\/p>\n

The Russian military brought around 40 vehicles and pieces of specialised equipment, including BTR-82A armoured personnel carriers, Ulan-1 and Ulan-2 tactical all-terrain vehicles, quad bikes and motorcycles.<\/p>\n
