According to the Forestry Ministry, the blaze occurred in the Kashara-Almany forestry district of the Stolin forestry enterprise.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cStrong winds and swampy, inaccessible terrain hampered firefighting efforts. The fire mainly affected the swamp, and a large forest area was successfully protected,\u201d<\/i> the ministry said.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 25 people took part in the firefighting operation, along with fire engines and tractors equipped with ploughs.
