Belarusian customs officers found goods worth more than 4,000 rubles in a Belarusian citizen\u2019s car that he failed to declare when entering from Poland, the State Customs Committee reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The man crossed the border through the Bruzgi checkpoint in a Peugeot and chose the green channel. During an inspection, customs officers found auto parts, cosmetics and other goods inside the car and in its hollow spaces.<\/p>\n

The goods, as well as the 2011 vehicle, have been seized pending a court decision.<\/p>\n

The man was issued a ruling holding him administratively liable under Part 4 of Article 15.5 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for failing to declare the goods. In addition, administrative proceedings have been launched under Part 2 of Article 15.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for concealing goods from customs control. The article provides for possible confiscation of the goods and the vehicle.<\/p>\n
