In reality, no activities in these areas were carried out.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, the defendant sought people in Turkey who wanted to come to Belarus, offering them fictitious employment in nonexistent programmer-engineer positions. She prepared documents for them, which were then submitted to the embassy and territorial citizenship and migration departments.<\/p>\n<p>Over time, she recruited a 52-year-old acquaintance as an assistant. For three years, the two Minsk residents facilitated the stay and illegal entry into Belarus of 53 foreign nationals, and the criminal scheme generated about 40,000 Belarusian rubles in income.<\/p>\n<p>The court found both women guilty under Part 2 of Article 371-1 (\u201cOrganization of illegal migration committed by an official using their official powers\u201d) of the Criminal Code.<\/p>\n<p>One of them was sentenced to two years and six months of restriction of liberty without being sent to an open correctional institution, along with a fine of 13,500 Belarusian rubles.
